Markaz Training College was started in 1995 under Markazutharbiyathil Islamiyya, a charitable trust established in 1984, headed by janab Panakad Hyderali Shihab Thangal and Janab P.K Hamzakutty Musliyar Adrissery. College is affiliated to Calicut University and recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
It is a well equipped College of teacher education to provide quality teacher education to all classes of people, to attract and encourage talented and dedicated students towards teaching profession. The College is situated at Athavanad Village between Kuttippuram and Valanchery in Malappuram District. and highly fascinating for its natural beauty and marvellous surroundings.
